Zuma-sambudla To Appear In Court For July 2021 Unrest

Former President Jacob Zuma's daughter, Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, is expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court in KwaZulu-Natal today in connection with the July 2021 civil unrest.

It is not clear whether she will be facing similar charges to those of the 65 alleged instigators.

Zuma-Sambudla, who is also the uMkhonto weSizwe MK Partys member of parliament, is the latest to be charged in connection with the 2021 civil unrest.

The riots affected KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng and claimed the lives of 354 people.

Businesses and critical infrastructure resulted in the loss of over R50 billion to the countrys economy.
