Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a technology company owned by Zimbabwean billionaire Strive Masiyiwa, has inked a strategic partnership with American connectivity pioneer Globalstar to deliver cutting-edge 5G connectivity solutions across Africa, the Middle East, and the Gulf.

The partnership grants Liquid exclusive rights to distribute Globalstar's XCOM RAN private networks 5G access solution across these regions, positioning the company at the forefront of next-generation wireless technology. The advanced 5G platform, which supports AI-driven applications, is poised to revolutionize sectors such as mining in Africa and high-end markets in the Middle East and Gulf.

As part of the deal, Liquid will offer comprehensive customer support for Globalstar's products and services, including technical assistance and warranty coverage. The collaboration also opens the door for potential expansion into Globalstar's satellite offerings, Band n53 spectrum, and IoT solutions on a non-exclusive basis.

Liquid and Globalstar's vision for transformative technology

"We are on the cusp of a revolution in 5G private networks," said Strive Masiyiwa, Founder and Chairman of Liquid Intelligent Technologies.
