Leicester City have provided an injury update on 2017 African Youth Player of the Year Patson Daka.
The Zambia international Daka limped off during the first half of a recent friendly away to Frances RC Lens and will not be available for selection for a period of time according to the club website.
Daka, 25, will miss Mondays English Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur and he is also an injury doubt for Zambias 2025 AFCON qualifiers scheduled for next month.
Patson [Daka] obviously is not great news, Leicester manager Steve Cooper said on the clubs website .
He suffered quite a serious ankle injury last week in the game in Lens and he is going to be out for a good few months.
