Xabi Alonso Reacts As Boniface Fights With Buendia Over Missed Chance

Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso has played down the heated confrontation between Victor Boniface and teammate Emiliano Buendia during their win at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Boniface lashed out at Buendia after they got in each others way while attempting to take a shot in stoppage time of the 4-1 victory.

Both players had to be separated by teammates.

Jeremie Frimpong spoke with Boniface, who was also followed closely by Alonso as the Nigerian forward left the field after the game.
