Worlds Number One In Mens Tennis, Jannik Sinner Banned Over Doping

The world number one in Mens Tennis, Jannik Sinner, has been banned for three months over doping.

Sinner tested positive for a banned substance last year.

The Italian was banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, WADA.

The organisation said in a statement on Saturday that Mr Sinner will serve his period of ineligibility from 9 February 2025 to 11.59pm on 4 May 2025.

This means that Sinner will be eligible to return to competitive tennis before the French Open which starts in late May.
