A Miami woman accused of trying to run over her ex-boyfriend in 2023 pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and received probation, court records show.
Iviss Aburto, 29, had faced several other felonies in the case. Those charges, including a second aggravated assault charge, as well as arson and insurance fraud, were dropped.
Authorities had accused her of attempting to run over her ex-boyfriend and another victim with her Mazda and said her ex fired at her vehicle in self-defense.
She had also been accused of falsely reporting her car as stolen and setting it on fire.
Her probation ended Aug. 8, records show.
