Wizkid And Davido Shine At The 56th Naacp Image Awards

Musicians Wizkid and Davido have made the African continent proud.

The Nigerian superstars made a resounding impact at this years 56th NAACP Image Awards by securing wins across key categories.

The 2025 ceremony was held on Saturday, February 22, at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California.

The awards, hosted by civil rights organisation the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People NAACP, are held annually to celebrate African-Americans who have excelled in film, television, music and literature.

Wizkid claimed the award for Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration Contemporary for 'Piece of My Heart', his collaboration with Brent Faiyaz from his 6th and latest album, Morayo.
