The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has asked the Nigerian Government to withdraw the countrys involvement in the pro-Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Samoa Agreement.
Muhammed Ishaq, Acting National Publicity Secretary, disclosed this in a statement to DAILY POST on Thursday.
Recall that the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, had confirmed that Nigeria signed the Samoa Agreement at a reception organized by the European Union (EU) on Monday in Abuja.
However, the PRP said signing the agreement is a betrayal of the Nigerian peoples trust and values.
We demand that the government immediately withdraw from this agreement, the party said.
