Former Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, has opened up on his departure from the team.
Peseiro left the Super Eagles coaching job in February following the expiration of his contract.
The Portuguese was appointed head coach of the three-time African champions on May 15, 2022.
The 64-year-old guided the Super Eagles to second position at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote dIvoire early this year.
Peseiro said he would still have quit his role even if the Super Eagles had won the tournament.
