West Ham have called off a scheduled press conference with head coach Julen Lopetegui, fueling speculation about his uncertain future at the club.

The 58-year-old was set to address the media on Wednesday ahead of the FA Cup third-round clash with Aston Villa on Friday but instead conducted a training session with the players earlier in the day.

This development comes amid growing expectations that Lopetegui will be dismissed.

West Ham have reportedly held discussions with former Brighton and Chelsea manager Graham Potter regarding a potential short-term deal to replace him.

The club has also approached former AC Milan boss Paulo Fonseca and ex-Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier, now coaching in Qatar, though Potter is widely regarded as the frontrunner for the role.
