Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has emphasised the need for the Buccaneers to be humble this season as they seek to clinch the Betway Premiership .
The Soweto giants are currently in second place in the league behind Mamelodi Sundowns with six points having won their opening games of the season.
The Spanish tactician has also guided Pirates to the group stages of the CAF Champion League after overcoming Botswana's Jwaneng Galaxy.
Speaking after his side's 3-0 win over Polokwane City at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday, Riveiro said Pirates needed to keep their feet firmly on the ground.
We need to understand the victories are coming because we are working hard and the moment we dont put the attention there, were not going to find ourselves in this space, Riveiro said.
