Nigerian forward Mohammed Zulkifilu has declared his determination to secure qualification for the 2024 African Nations Championship CHAN, describing it as a personal mission, Soccernet.ng reports .

The Kano Pillars striker, part of Nigeria's 30-man squad for the CHAN qualifiers against Ghana, views this as a chance for redemption following Nigeria's failure to qualify for the last two tournaments.

Speaking to Brila FM , Zulkifilu expressed how much it would mean for the team to return to the competition, especially after their narrow miss last time out.

Reflecting on his inclusion in the squad, Zulkifilu voiced his excitement.

Zulkifilu is confident that Nigeria will be able to overcome Ghana, who defeated the Super Eagles B at this stage in the qualifying round for the last edition.
