Former Orlando Pirates head coach Eric Tinkler has pinpointed an area for improvement for teenage sensation Relebohile Mofokeng , which he believes is crucial for the youngster to take his career to the next level.

Since bursting onto the top-flight scene, Mofokeng has consistently impressed in the Betway Premiership , culminating in him winning the Young Player of the Season award last season.

This season he has continued to build from his impressive performances, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

His impressive displays have earned him a national team call-up from Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos . However, despite his achievements, Tinkler believes the youngster needs to develop his physical presence further.

'I think the youngster Mofokeng has shown a lot of maturity when I compare him to a lot of other youngsters. I think he shows a lot of maturity at his age. Very comfortable on the ball and he is not afraid to express himself, which is a positive,' Tinkler said in an interview with SoccerBeat Podcast on Youtube.
