A video that was uploaded to TikTok has gone viral, showing a mother sharing her grievances regarding her son being placed in an Afrikaans school in Pretoria by the Department of Education, Cape town Etc reports.

In the video, uploaded by user kwit_kwitani , real name Awelani Khoaisi, on Monday, 13 January, she states that her child can only speak English while criticising the department of education, in a profanity-laced rant.

This is not an Afrikaans school that teaches English no, they teach all the subjects in Afrikaans except English, said Khoaisi, in the video.

So, Im sitting here with a problem I dont know how its going to be resolved because this department of f up, Department of Education is so f up in such a way that - f you, Khoaisi added.
