Celebrity chef Lorna Maseko has been appointed as the executive chef for South African Airways SAA for the 2025 fiscal year.

She announced the partnership on social media, revealing that she had designed the airlines menu, which features a selection of dishes rooted in South African culture and heritage.

Lorna shared a video showcasing the menu and her face in chef's attire.

Im so proud and excited to announce that I've partnered with our national carrier, South African Airways, to create a menu for this fiscal year, she wrote.

The process involved creating over 30 dishes, with Lorna emphasising the intricate details involved in in-flight meal preparation.
