Volvo South Africa Issues Safety Recall For Three Models
Volvo South Africa has issued a safety recall for three of its models launched into the domestic vehicle market between January 2023 and October 2024.
The National Consumer Commission NCC says Volvo SA notified the commission about the recall of the three models.
This affects 109 vehicles that were sold nationwide.
NCC Head of Compliance, Prudence Moilwa, has called for calm and urged consumers to take those cars back to Volvo to be fixed accordingly.
Moilwa says, "The models that are involved is the XC90, which was made available as you said on the 29th of October, the XC40, my 2024 made available on the 24th of January."
