Visit The Ancestors: South Africa Reopens Famous Sterkfontein Caves

Situated in the area known as the Cradle of Humankind, the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the country's Gauteng province contains some of the oldest and most important remains of human ancestors.
In the late 19th century, miners discovered fossils in the caves that attracted the interest of paleontologists.
