Vhavenda Prince Toni To Be Cross-examined In Throne Battle Case

Princess Masindi Mphephus lawyer Allan Dodson will start cross-examining former Vhavenda king, Prince Toni Mphephu Ramabulana, when the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo continues to hear the case of the battle for the throne today.
The throne became vacant after the Princess successfully challenged the former King who is her uncle in the Constitutional Court.
In 2016, the Mphephu stopped the coronation of her uncle following a court interdict.
Ramabulana started with his testimony yesterday and is expected to conclude his testimony today.
Yesterday, he told the court that according to the customs of the Mphephu Ramabulana Royal Family, only a male person can ascend the throne.
