Verstappen Eyes Fifth Consecutive F1 Title, Credits Red Bull's Resilience

Max Verstappen believes Red Bull's resilience and experience will be crucial in his pursuit of a record-equalling fifth consecutive Formula One world championship in 2025.

The Dutch driver secured his fourth straight title in Las Vegas last November, becoming only the fifth driver in F1 history to achieve such dominance. A successful title defence in 2025-Formula One's 75th anniversary season-would see him match Michael Schumacher's record of five consecutive championships.

Despite winning the 2024 title by 63 points over McLaren's Lando Norris, Red Bull failed to secure a third straight constructors championship. However, Verstappen remains optimistic about their chances.

If we are competitive as a team, then Im sure that we can win it again, Verstappen told reporters during the 2025 Formula One Season launch at Londons O2 Arena on Tuesday.

We are very experienced and I think we showed that also last year that it was a bit tougher for us, we were still maximising our results. And thats, I think, the big strength of the team.
