Vergelegen To Host Exclusive Vineyard Feast As Harvest Season Ends

Vergelegen Wine Estate is marking the end of its grape harvest season with an intimate dining experience set in a secluded vineyard location on the historic Somerset West farm, Cape town Etc reports.

The exclusive event, scheduled for Sunday, 6 April , will offer guests a scenic journey through the estate, beginning at the Wine Tasting Centre before heading to a picturesque vineyard setting. Attendees will be treated to a welcome drink, gourmet canapes, and a chance to hand-pick their own grapes before moving on to a hidden pop-up venue for a long-table harvest feast.

Live music by the Ceekay acoustic cover band will set the tone as guests enjoy a farm-style meal featuring artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, homegrown vegetables, and a selection of wines from Vergelegen's Heritage Range.

With only 60 seats available, the event promises an intimate atmosphere for those looking to experience the estate's rich winemaking traditions.

Tickets are priced at R950 per person and include food, drinks, live entertainment, and a take-home gift.
