U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to a beached vessel Friday near the Haulover Inlet and Beach Park area in Miami-Dade County.

Benoit Garcon and Ledieu Similien said they went fishing on Thursday night in the ocean when their engine cut off and the waves pushed them toward the beach.

According to Adam Hoffner, the assistant chief patrol agent for the U.S. Border Patrol's Miami sector, the agents didn't have anyone in custody.
