Uganda Airlines has revealed a network expansion plan that includes the launch of services to London, Saudi Arabia and China, along with intra-Africa routes to Cape Town, Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, by mid-2025.
Adedayo Olawuyi , CCO of Uganda Airlines, highlighted the route expansion targets at a travel agents forum in Johannesburg on October 30.
We will be expanding a lot more as we continue to grow, but will be starting these destinations in particular within the next six months, before the end of our financial year in July of 2025.
He added that the national carriers much-anticipated London Gatwick flights would start in the first quarter of next year. The airline has reportedly secured four weekly slots between Entebbe and London.
An announcement will be made very soon as to the exact launch and schedules of this service, said Olawuyi.
