Ucl: Referee To Officiate Real Madrid, Man City Second Leg In Spain Confirmed

UEFA have appointed referee, Istvan Kovacs to officiate the Champions League playoff second leg with Manchester City on Wednesday.

The playoff will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

DAILY POST reports that it will be the fourth time Kovacs has taken charge of a game involving Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The Romanian official has taken charge Real Madrids 5-2 win against Borussia Dortmund in the 2024/25 Champions League league phase.

He was also in charge of the Los Blancos 5-2 win over Liverpool in the 2022/23 Champions League first leg Round of 16 encounter.
