U-20 Afcon: New Players Will Make Flying Eagles Stronger Zubairu

Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, is hopeful the inclusion of foreign-based players will help him build a formidable squad for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The West Africans will look to win a record eighth title when the tournament kicks off in Cote dIvoire on April 26.

Zubairus side engaged in two friendlies against Cote dIvoire this week, winning one and losing one.

The Flying Eagles will continue their preparations after a one-week break in Abuja.

The gaffer said more players from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, and foreign professionals will join the team for their final preparation.
