South Africa's U19 Women thrashed African counterparts Nigeria in a rain-affected T20 World Cup encounter at Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak, Malaysia on Wednesday.

South Africa won by 41 runs DLS method to finish on top of Group C and qualify for the Super Six stage.

After a rain delay, the match was reduced to eight overs a side, meaning Nigeria had to chase a DLS-adjusted 66 runs to win.
