MTVs Video Music Awards took place at the UBS Arena in New York on Wednesday where musos came out to play and South Africas sweetheart Tyla was one of them.
While the Water singer was nominated for two awards she won the Best Afrobeats award for her popular song.
Not only did she win the award but she certainly took the prize for best dressed as well.
She stood out on the red (or should we say black) carpet in a bright yellow mini dress.
The 22-year-old showed a bit of flesh in as the dress was made from thin fabric strips that wrapped around her body.
