Trump announced that the new detention center at the U.S. military base will have a capacity for up to 30,000 people for the "worst criminal illegal aliens."

Trump announced the new detention center during a ceremony to sign The Laken Riley Act requiring the detention of migrants accused of theft and violent crimes.

"We're going to send them out to Guantanamo," Trump said about the military base known for holding war on terrorism suspects.
