The Bishop Lavis Magistrates Court sentenced 29-year-old Enrico Slawers to 57 years in jail after he was convicted of a brutal triple murder in 2022, reports Cape {town} Etc .
Slawers, a known hitman associated with gang-related activity in the area, entered a plea agreement with the state and was sentenced on Wednesday.
Slawers was convicted of shooting three people on 30 November 2022.
The victims, whose names have not been made public, were seated on a property in Bishop Lavis when Slawers arrived and opened fire.
Each victim received numerous gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency personnel.
