KwaZulu-Natal police have launched a manhunt for suspects linked to the tragic killing of an 11-year-old girl in Malvern on Wednesday night.
According to KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Constable Thenjiswa Ngcobo, police in Malvern are investigating cases of murder and car-jacking.
This follows an incident in which a 11-year-old girl was run over by a vehicle which was being hijacked at a parking lot of a fast food outlet in Malvern.
The victim was conveyed to a nearby hospital for medical attention where she was declared dead on arrival.
The child has been identified as Zarah Ramsamy.
