Transfer: Napoli In Talks To Sign Man Utd Star As Kvaratskhelias Replacement
Napoli have opened talks with Manchester United over a deal for their winger, Alejandro Garnacho amid the ongoing January transfer window.
The Serie A club have identified Garnacho as a direct replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Sky Sports Italy reports that initial talks over a potential transfer were held on Tuesday.
The report added that Man United are demanding a 70 million transfer fee for the Argentina international.
But Napoli consider Man United's 70m asking price too high and the former Serie A champions are considering alternative options which include Timo Werner, who is currently on loan at Tottenham from RB Leipzig.
Napoli are already on the verge of selling Kvaratskhelia in a 70m deal to Paris Saint-Germain this month.
