Former Falconets striker, Opeyemi Ajakaye has sealed a loan move to USL Super League club, Carolina Ascent FC.

Ajakaye moved to Carolina Ascent from another USL club, Kansas City.

The 18-year-old previously played for Robo Queens and Madrid CFF.

The player was part of NigerIas Flamingos side that came third at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Womens World Cup in India.

The striker expressed her delight after making the switch.
