The train that derailed at Dal Josafat station was en route to the Cape Town - Wellington station, according to a press release issued by the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA).
No fatalities have been recorded, and 25 passengers were injured. Passengers who required medical assistance were transported to various hospitals.
