TP Mazembe won the 2024 CAF Womens Champions League title with a 1-0 victory over ASFAR in the final at Ben MHamed El Abdi Stadium in El Jadida, Morocco.
Marlene Yav Kasaj scored the winning goal from a penalty in the 10th minute, awarded by VAR for a hand-ball by ASFAR defender Aziza Rabbah. Despite several other opportunities, Mazembe couldn't increase their lead but managed to hold on for the win. ASFAR struggled to find their attacking rhythm against a well-organized Mazembe side.
This victory marks Mazembe's first continental crown, joining previous champions ASFAR and Mamelodi Sundowns.
