Toss: Proteas And Australia Icc Champions Trophy Clash Delayed Due To Wet Outfield

Showers have greeted the Proteas and Australia ahead of their much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy clash in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

This has caused the toss to be delayed due to a wet outfield until further notice.

Both the Proteas and Australia came into this match with confidence-boosting victories over Afghanistan and England respectively.

They were achieved in contrasting methods though with the Proteas bowlers comfortably defending 315/6, while the Aussies chased down a record 351 with five wickets to spare.

Australia are, of course, without their premier fast bowling trio Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Starc.
