Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) are searching for suspects who hijacked a couple and later raped the woman in Pretoria West last night.
Police were responding to an incident in which the vehicle had been hijacked with the driver and his wife inside.
The vehicle was found deserted in Saulsville. The suspect fled with the victims but later raped the woman.
Tshwane Metro polices Rebone Molapo says a case of hijacking, kidnapping and rape has been opened with the South African Police Services.

The Chief of TMPD Commissioner YCR Faro condemns this vicious act by criminals and vows that the TMPD will not rest until these suspects are found and arrested.
