Tiger Woods' Son Charlie Scores First Hole-in-one At 15
Charlie Woods Hits First Hole-in-One at PNC Championship, But Bernhard Langers Team Wins
Charlie Woods, the 15-year-old son of golf legend Tiger Woods, made an exciting mark in the sport by scoring his first hole-in-one during the final round of the PNC Championship. The remarkable shot came on the par-three fourth hole, propelling the Woods duo into the lead in the tournament, which features 20 major champions paired with their family members.
Despite Charlie's incredible achievement, the title went to Bernhard and Jason Langer after a tense playoff. The Langers secured their fourth PNC Championship victory and their second consecutive win in Orlando, Florida, when Bernhard made an eagle on the first hole of the playoff to clinch the title.
"It was amazing," Charlie said after the round. "Everyone played well today, so it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had."
Tiger Woods, competing in his first event since July's Open Championship, returned to the course after undergoing back surgery in September, his second procedure in just 18 months. The 15-time major champion admitted he was not fully prepared for the competition, but expressed enjoyment in being part of the event.
