Tiger Woods Is Back! Sort Of - Confirms Participation In Pnc Champs With Son Next Week

Tiger Woods on Tuesday ended speculation about when he could be seen back on a golf course, as he confirmed he would play in next weeks family tournament the PNC Championship.

Speaking in commentary last week at the Hero World Challenge where Woods was tournament host, the 15-time major winner would not commit to when he would play again.

This came after he underwent back surgery in September.

Woods will team up with son Charlie as the duo finished fifth last year to go with a runner-up finish in 2021.

'I'm very excited to head back to the PNC Championship next week with Charlie,' Woods said in a statement. 'Playing together is something we look forward to and it's always more special when you're surrounded by friends and family.
