Three Children Killed In Bloemfontein Crash

Three children have died in a crash between a car and a bakkie on the N8 in Bloemfontein.

Police Spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli says the car had five occupants, four children and a woman driver, while the bakkie only had the driver.

Kareli says a 6-year-old boy and a girl aged 11 from the car died at the scene while the third child, also a 6-year-old boy, succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

The woman and another person have been admitted in hospital.

Kareli says the 20-year-old driver of the bakkie was also rushed to hospital.
