Interim Super Eagles manager, Augustine Owen Eguavoen, has revealed that Nigeria will be without Nottingham Forest full-back, Ola Aina, when the Super Eagles play against Rwanda on Monday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old has played all of Nottingham Forests league games this season, and scored a brilliant goal against West Ham United, which saw him included in Troy Deeneys BBC Premier League team of the week.
Aina played in Nigerias 1-1 draw against the Republic of Benin, and was on the pitch for 82 minutes. He looked to struggle towards the end of the game against Gernot Rohrs men, and was taken off by Eguavoen, with Fernabahces Osayi-Samuel coming on in his place.
Speaking ahead of Nigerias game against the Republic of Rwanda, Eguavoen confirmed hell be without his first-choice right-back as hes already on his way to England.
Ola Ainas return to his club side hinted that the former Chelsea man could have picked up a knock but Nunos side swooped in to save their full-back on a precautionary note ahead of their crunch clash against Arsenal next weekend.
