Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to critics who believe his career is over, insisting that he still has the passion to win and make an impact despite his move to Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese star, who joined Al Nassr in November 2022 after leaving Manchester United, clarified his intentions in a video for the new Netflix documentary Saudi Pro League Kick Off.
Ronaldo, now 39, said he came to Saudi Arabia to "win" and "make the league better," emphasizing his desire to leave a legacy.
While some have speculated that his move was financially motivated, the former Real Madrid and Juventus forward made it clear that he still has the drive to succeed. "They say Im finished, that Im only here for the money I still feel the passion," Ronaldo said, adding, "Im here to win." So far, he has helped Al Nassr secure the Arab Champions Cup, but Ronaldo is determined to achieve more in his time in the Saudi Pro League.
