The Ghost Need Not Worry, Orlando Pirates Not Taking Chances Against Kaizer Chiefs In Soweto Derby

It may have come as something as a shock to see Orlando Pirates not sign any new players in the January transfer window ahead of the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, but the Sea Robbers seem to be more than happy with the players they have.

Earlier this week, Chiefs announced three new signings in the form of Tashreeq Morris , Thabo Cele and Makabi Lilepo on Monday.

In fact, the January transfer window closed on Tuesday, and therefore the AmaKhosi left it until the last minute before they put pen to paper.

While Chiefs were furiously inking out the contracts, the Pirates management would have had their focus on the game itself.

Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi on Tuesday in a press conference, however, had a rather unusual take on the issue when asked if his side would still be looking to add to their player stocks.
