The Body Of 5-year-old Girl Found In An Ekurhuleni Veld

The police are investigating the murder of a five-year-old girl whose body was discovered in an open veld in Duduza, Ekurhuleni.

It is alleged that the little girl was raped before she was stabbed to death.

Police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwe says the circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.

The police request anyone who may have information that can assist the investigation and also identify the suspects to contact their nearest police station or the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111. Police investigations continue, says Nevhuhulwe.
