Team South Africa had athletes competing in four sporting codes on day three of the Paralympic Games held in Paris.
Swimmers, Nathan Hendricks, Alani Ferreira, and Christian Sadie have qualified for tonights finals.
Hermanus Blom set a new African record in the mens F12 shot put with a throw of 13-point-1-6 metres in the final but finished 7th in a highly competitive field. And, long jumper, Tezna Abrahams, also set an African record in the womens T-64 long jump.
But her 4-point-4-6 metres jump placed her in 11th place overall in the final.
