The team Nigeria led by flagbearer, Tobi Amusan, defied the rain at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The ceremony took place on Friday, with over 10,000 athletes on boats on the Seine River.
The teams embarked on a four mile boat cruise along the Seine River, passing through the structures.
During the nations parade, the atmosphere reached a new peak of excitement when the team entered the arena in traditional attire that showcased Nigerias diverse cultures.
In a now trending video on social media, Amusan led the team on their boat cruise, with Anuoluwapo Opeyori named the general captain.
