The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education has dispatched a task team to Thabela High School in Hillcrest, Durban following a bullying incident that occurred last week .
It is believed that three pupils assaulted a fellow learner, allegedly over a dispute over a loan.
In a statement, the provincial Education Department says it prioritises the well-being of all.
The Department says it will also offer psychological support to the affected learners.
It has urged learners, parents, educators, and community members to work together to cultivate a culture of mutual respect and zero tolerance towards bullying in schools. - Reporting by Asanda Dlamini
