Suspected Vigilante Arrested After 3 People Discovered Shot And Torched
Cape Town police have arrested a male suspect linked to a suspected vigilante attack in which three people were shot and set alight, reports Cape town Etc .
According to police spokesperson Colonel Andre Traut, the crime scene was discovered in Gushendoda in Delft South, at around 7:30am on Tuesday.
The victims were shot and set alight in what we believe is an act of vigilantism after shots were heard during the early hours of Tuesday morning, said Traut.
Two of the bodies are male and a third one is believed to be a female, as identification is yet to be made.
Due to the swift action of the SAPS detectives attached to the Serious and Violent Crimes unit, the male suspect was arrested just hours later, on Tuesday evening.
