Suspect Arrested In Wsu Fatal Shooting Incident

Eastern Cape police have confirmed the arrest of a 54-year-old suspect in connection with the shooting incident at Walter Sisulu University WSU on Tuesday.

This after one student was shot dead and several injured during unrests at the institution.

The suspect has been charged with murder and attempted murder and is expected to appear in court on the 22 of April.

Police spokesperson, Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana says though this arrest is a critical step, the investigation remains active.
