'Survivor' fans are in for a treat as M-Net DStv channel 101 is set to deliver three compelling international seasons of one the world's most popular reality television shows.

' Survivor Australia ' season 12 will premiere on April 8 and will air from Monday through Friday.

This season, themed 'Brains vs Brawn II', will showcase a fierce battle between 24 fresh contestants stranded in Samoa.

The new season will be hosted once again by Jonathan LaPaglia, affectionately known as the 'Survivor daddy'.

Competitors will vie for the coveted title of 'Sole Survivor' and the impressive 500,000 approximately R5.7 million.
