Surprise As Ndlozi Praises Ramaphosa: 'no Wmc Puppet Acts As He Does'
Former Economic Freedom Fighters EFF member of Parliament MP Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has stunned social media users by heaping praise on President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Writing on X on Monday 3 February, Ndlozi said Ramaphosa is not what we have been told he is.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi praises RamaphosaHe is truly up to something. Of all South African heads of state, he has come out as the most committed to policies that matter for the most genuine transformation of the living conditions of our people, Ndlozi, previously one of Ramaphosas harshest critics, wrote.
He cited several policies the government has advanced under Ramaphosas leadership, including National Health Insurance NHI, Basic Education Laws Amendment BELA Act, Expropriation Act and South Africas stance on Palestine.
The left needs to accept this and rethink its position towards him! Notwithstanding Marikana, Phala Phala, CR is on a journey less travelled by many in his position. Worse, under GNU government of national unity conditions! No puppet of white monopoly capitalism speaks and acts like he does! Sela! he added.
On the way to ANC?Ndlozis comments have reignited speculation that he may join the African National Congress ANC after being sidelined in the EFF.
His resignation as an MP in January came soon after he was reportedly barred from attending the EFFs third National Peoples Assembly in December last year. EFF leader Julius Malema also spoke harshly about him when media reporters questioned his absence.
"90 percent of the people who were expected to be here, are here," Malema said. "Whoever is not here was not supposed to be here from the beginning. So, you're not going to reduce this organisation to some individual. He is not here and it's not in our interest to entertain such nonsense.
"We are dealing with political issues here, not egoism. Not people who think they are bigger than this organisation. It will show them once again that it's bigger than all of them."
Following his absence at the Assembly, Ndlozi was not re-elected to the EFFs highest decision-making structure.
