Nigeria will close out their Group C campaign in the womens football tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games when they face Japan on Wednesday at Stade de Beaujoire in Nantes.
Kick-off is at 17:00 CAT.
The Super Falcons have suffered back-to-back 1-0 losses at the hands of Brazil and Spain at the tournament thus far putting in fighting performances which could have produced better results had their finishing been up to scratch.
We had three to four good opportunities today, regrettably, we did not convert them, said coach Randy Waldrum after the defeat to world champions Spain on Sunday evening.
He added, We lost to two of the best teams in the world. Spain is the best team in the world right now and Brazil are in the top 10.
